Christening of Albina Adams in the IGI on 28 August (sic) 1841 in Topcroft, Norfolk, parents Samuel and Elizabeth Adams. The same information is in Ancestry England, Select Births and Christenings, 1538-1975.

Entry in IGI "Baptisms solemnized in the Parifh of Topcroft in the County of Norfolk in the Year 1841 [...] Novr 28th No. 365 Albina, parents Saml, a labourer, and Elizabeth Adams of Topcroft."

In the 1851 census as Albina Adams aged 9, born in Topcroft, and living with her parents (Samuel and Elizabeth), brother (George) and sister (Louisa) in Topcroft, Norfolk.

In the 1861 census as Albina Adams aged 19, born in Topcroft, single, employed as a dressmaker, and living with her parents (Saml and Elizabeth) and brother (George) at Church Green, Topcroft, Norfolk.

Entry in in Ancestry England, Select Births and Christenings, 1538-1975 gives Albina Adams as the mother of Elisabeth Ellen Borrett baptised on 31 May 1868 in Topcroft, Norfolk with a similar entry for Elizabeth Ellen Borrett Adams.

Marriage of Albina Adams and James Borrett in FreeBMD in July-September 1869 in Loddon (4b 369). James was Albina's bother-in-law.

There are two entries in the IGI for the marriage of Albina Adams and James Borrett in Topcroft, Norfolk, one on 8 August 1869, and the other on 10 August 1869, father Samuel Adams.

Entry in IGI "1869 Marriage solemnized after Banns in the Parish of Topcroft in the County of Norfolk No, 87 10th Augt James Borrett of full age a Bachelor and Labourer of Topcroft, father John Borrett, a Butcher, and Albina Adams of ful age, a Spinster of Topcroft, father Samuel Adams. I cannot find an entry in the 1881 census but I guess the family had moved to Newark between 1875 and 1876 from the births of the children.

I cannot find an entry for her husband's death (however there is an entry for John Borrett in Newark in 1883 aged 42), nor Albina's marriage to Edward Rick, but these events appear to have taken place before 1888.

In the 1891 census as Albina Rick aged 40, born in Topcroft, and living with her husband (Edward), two sons (Ernest Borrell (sic) and William E Nick (sic)), son-in-law and daughter (William and Elizabeth G Lann (sic - in the index, Lunn on the original), in four rooms at 45 Harcourt Street, Newark St Mary, Nottinghamshire.

In the 1901 census as Albina Rick aged 58, born in Topcroft, and living with her husband (Edward) and son (William E) at 21 Harcourt Street, Newark St Mary Magdalen, Nottinghamshire.
