Her brother was born in Reigate in 1903.

In the 1911 census as Hilda Constance Wetherhed aged 9, born in Kingswood, Surrey and living with her parents (Arthur James and Sydney Alice), brother (Cantney Harold), sister (Frances Alice), a governess (Dorothy Howden aged 24, born in Hoylake, Cheshire and single), and a cook (Elizabeth Dighton aged 24 and born in Godmanchester, Huntingdonshire, and single), and a palourmaid (Fanny Weyland aged 22, born in Kingswood, Surrey and single) in ten rooms at Kingswood Vicarage, Epsom, Surrey.
