In the 1851 census as Harriet Street aged 20, born in Whaley (sic- in the index, Whitley on the original), surrey, single, a domestic servant and living with William Lucey (aged 37, born in Bermondsey, Surrey, and a lighter man), his wife (Ann C aged 29 and Born in South Green, Yorkshire), two sons (Frank C aged 2 and William E aged 9), two daughters (Ann C aged 4 and Kate E aged 10 months, all children born in Bermondy, Surrey) and a visitor (Elizabeth Lucy aged 41, born in Bermondy, single and a lady's companion) at 12 East Lane, Bermondsey St James, Surrey.

In the 1881 census as Harriett Corpse (sic) aged 51, born in Witley, married, a nurse (S M), and living with her daughter (Harriett A Paller ( This was just before the birth of her granddaughter Harriet Jane Voller)), and son-in-law (Thomas Paller) at Lady Cross, Wetley (sic) Surrey. Her husband, daughter, and nephew were living next door.
