In the 1841 census as Margaret Hosolom (sic - in the index, Absolom on the original) aged 50 (rounded down to a multiple of 5), born in Northumberland, a seaman's wife (crossed out) and living at Waggon Hill, South Blyth, Earsdon, Northumberland.
In the 1851 census as Margaret Absalom aged 65, born in Blyth, and living with her husband (Robert), son (Benjamin) and granddaughter (Margaret Wilson) at Market Place, Blyth and Newsham, Northumberland.
In the 1861 census as Margaret Absalom aged 73, born in Long Borsley, Northumberland, employed as a green grocer, and living with her husband (Robert), daughter (Ann), and granddaughter Mary Wilson at Market Place, Earsdon. Her daughter Elizabeth Wilson and family were living next door.
