Matthew Voller adds his christening on 10 April 1859 in Widney. Hugh Stevens adds his marriage to Constance Skinner in Croydon on 5 August 1893 and his death in Toxteth Park, Lancashire on 13 March 1909 adding John William Croucher of Devonshire Road, Princes Park, Liverpool, nautical surveyor to the board of trade died 13 March 1909. Probate to Constance Croucher widow. Effects £668 11s 9d.

An email from Rosemary Simmons states:

In my tree, John William Croucher appears - a ship's captain who married my great grandmother's sister, Constance Skinner in 1893. Having only looked at the Gill people on your web site, I did not see JWC. We have a picture of him, dated about 1902 in Bude, we think, together with others in the Skinner tribe, and my sister has a chess set which he owned.
