In the 1911 census as John Edward Croucher aged 9, and living with Walter John and Emily Jane (parents?), Albert Walter and Fred Charles (brothers?), Charlotte Emma, Doris Kathleen, Evelyn Mary, Margaret Ellen amnd Olive Maud (sisters?) in Reigate, Surrey.
He may have gone to Australia, married Elizabeth Emma Mills, had four children and died in Sydney in 1980. There are 13 entries in Ancestry Australian Electoral Rolls, 1903-1954 for John Edward Croucher living in Reid, Calare, North Sydney and Blaxland, all NSW between 1930 and 1954, but for more than one person. If Elizabeth Emma was his wife then the appropriate entries are for Reid 1930-1936, North Sydney 1937-1943, and additionally for Elizabeth Emma in Bradfield, NSW in 1949 and 1954 although there is no entry for John, but is one for Walter Robert in 1954 (I guess he was a son). Joan Stirling and Ian Francis were also living in North Sydney in 1949 and 1954 and may be his children.
