All the children were christened at St James, Wesminster, with the exception of the second John (I assume the first died) who was christened at the Providence Chapel in Marylebone, and Joseph who was christening is recorded in Dr Williams' Register indicating the family were nonconformists. The parents were John and Sarah Croucher.
