There is also an entry in the Pedigree Resource File for John Croucher born in 1805 in Dorking, parents John Croucher and Mary Haswell and his death and burial on 30 May 1837 at Dorking St Martins. I believe these are the wrong parents as they had a son John born about 1792 who had a son Patrick Haswell Croucher.
His brother and two sisters were christened in Betchworth in 1806-1810, and the remaining siblings in Dorking in 1811-1820.

There are many confusing entries in Ancestry Public Member Trees. Tracy O'Malley gives his birth on 10 November 1805, parents John Croucher and Mary Haswell, his marriage to Eliza, a list of children who I beleve were those of John born 1794 and married to Eliza Capon, and his death on 25 May 1837 at the Kings Head Inn and burial at St Mary Magdelen, Holmwood. Another entry with the same parents, wife and children put his birth in 1796, his death in 1837, but an entry for him in the 1841 census! There are several entries for the christening on 29 December 1805.
