Married in the parish church according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church after banns in the presence of us, William James Hutchings and Agnes Larby". He was her brother.

Her husband died in Dartford in 1971.
An article in Farnham Herald circa 1964 states that Kate Hutchings, her mother, visited her once a year by car when she was living in Cobham near Gravesend.
