Emma Croucher was born in 1875 London, parents Alfred Robert Croucher and Elizabeth Treasure, sailed on S.S. Texan on 5 April 1884 from Plymouth arriving on 23 May 1884 in Sydney, married William Robson on 13 April 1897 in Waterloo, Sydney. Emma and her husband lived mainly in Mascot and Botany. Emma wrote to many public figures around the world and kept a scrap book of their replies. She nursed her father in his final years (he died on 30 December 1911 at her home in North Botany), as his wife had died a few years earlier. Attempts to find descendants of this branch have failed so far.
