Notes

Birth of Edward Croucher in FreeBMD in April-June 1872 in Kingston (2a 279). (Note another Edward was born in the previous quarter also in Kingston, son of Edwards uncle William).

In the 1881 census as Edward Croucher aged 9, born in Kingston, and living with his parents, two brothers (Henry J and James) and two sisters (Elizabeth A and Mabel A) at 1 Lucias Cottages, Kingston on Thames, Surrey (Note that the other Edward was living next door at Number 2).

In the 1891 census as Edward Croucher aged 19, born in Kingston, employed as a labourer and living with his wife at 102 Washington Road, Kingston. A Pency and Eliza Crowden are listed in the index at the same address, but the original looks more like Henry and Eliza Croucher and so I assume that he is Edward's brother.

In the 1901 census as Edwd Croucher aged 28, born in Norbiton, Surrey, employed as a fishmonger on his own account, and living with his wife, two sons (Edward and William) and two daughters (Edith and Ellen) at Armhouse Lane, Chessington, Surrey.
