The christening of Charles Croucher is in the IGI on 14 November 1824 in Frensham, Suurey, parents Charles Croucher and Harriet. The christening is in West Surrey Family History Society Frensham Baptisms on 24 November 1824 as Charles Croucher, son of Charles Croucher (potter) and Harriet.
The marriage of Charles Croucher and Eliza Wheeler is in the IGI on 20 April 1844 in Frensham, Surrey. Charles Croucher and Elisa Wheeler also occur on the same page in the Register of Marriages in April-June 1844 in Farnham (4 111).
He is in the West Surrey Family History Society 1851 Surrey census as Charles Croucher aged 26, born in Frensham and living with his wife Eliza at High Pitfold, Frensham (this is now in Hindhead between A3 and A287).
His wife is stated as married in the 1861 census, but is living with her parents, and I cannot find an entry for Charles. In the 1871 census she is living alone, but is stated to be married. However in the 1881 census she is a widow.
