Her father died just after the census.
In the 1851 census as Ann Croucher aged 30, born in Ripley, unmarried, employed as a housemaid and living with her sister (Caroline Rainbird aged 28 and born in Ripley), her husband William Raiwbird (sic - in the index, Rainbird on the original, aged 32, born in Enfield, and employed as a gardener), their son (William aged 5 months and born in Enfield) and another housemaid (Elizh Cook aged 32, unmarried and born in Snodling, Kent) at Belmont House, Cockfosters, Enfield, Middlesex.
