Both children were christened in Oxted.
There is an entry in FamilyHistoryOnline for the burial of Ann Gilbert on 13 September 1823 at Oxted St Mary, but her age of 66 makes her too young at her marriage.
I guess that Ann was the sister of Charles Croucher.
