In the 1891 census as Allie (sic - in the index, Alice on Original) Croucher, aged 12, born in Winkton and living with her parents (Henry and Ellen) at Railway Tenements(?) (off Stour Road now the B3059), Christchurch, Hampshire.
Her daughter was born in 1897 in Christchurch.
In the 1901 census as Alice Croucher aged 22, born in Christchurch, single, employed as a dressmaker, and living with her parents (Henry and Ellea) and their granddaughter (Kate who I assume is Alice's daughter), and a lodger (Gertrude Mabor) at 1 Arthur Road (off Stour Road now the B3059), Christ Church East, Hampshire.
